Lord, I don’t understand suffering. It’s hard to watch people I love hurt. But I know Your ways are not my way. I am not You. Give me strength to trust in You and Your word. Let me remember that you know suffering and sacrifice as you gave Jesus that I might call you Papa. Cover those who are suffering, Lord. Bring them peace as only You can. Strengthen their faith despite their circumstances. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
