Lord Jesus, you sacrificed your life that I may live. Let me live in courage, not cower in fear. Let me honor the Father’s word, not blindly obey evil laws. Prepare me for the consequences of taking a stand. But do not let those consequences overtake me. Let me trust in You to carry me through that I may be a light in this world where evil wishes to prevail. I know how this story ends, Lord. Let me trust in your promises. In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen.
