Lord, I am always in a hurry. A hurry for summer to come so I can enjoy the warm weather and flowers. Only to wish for fall to unpack sweaters and fall decorations. Lord, I know that in each season there is much for me to learn. Much for me to enjoy. Much for me to celebrate. Help me to slow down. Help me to rest knowing that You will tell me when it is time to move on. You will make my path clear if my eyes are fixed on you. Let me live a life that embraces each season we walk together. That I may grow into the child of God that you have planned for me. In your precious name I pray. Amen.
