Lord, in those times when we cannot stand. Hold us up. In those times when we can’t seem to breathe, breathe your life into our lungs. When our minds can’t make sense of tragedy, gives us the peace of the Holy Spirit. When we can’t fathom a way to move on, give us Jesus to carry us. Lord God, we lift up those who are suffering great loss. Let them fall into your arms; comfort them and love them as only you can. Grieve with them as the Almighty God who understands. In the precious blood of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
