Lord, I love this season when we get to celebrate your birth. We get to share our love with family and friends. Lord, let me rest in the peace of the season. Let the love of the salvation guide me as I want through these next four weeks. Release me from worldly expectations to be something, or do something. Instead, let me just be. Be in the light of your love. Be in gratitude for the gift of your birth. Give me faith as Mary. Give me a heart that beats in sync with yours. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
