Lord, too often I cry out to you in prayer to fix something in my life that I am more than capable of fixing on my own. I may not like what I have to do to make things better or different. So I pray that you’ll fix it so I’m not uncomfortable. Or I don’t have to sacrifice. Lord, forgive me for asking you to do what you’ve already equipped me to do. Let me use the God-given talents I have to make the changes You desire. Let me trust you with the impossible. In the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
