Jesus, forgive me for excluding you from the celebrations and pity parties. Remove from me my self-reliance or fear that I am not good enough to come to you. Or the lie that you are frustrated with me. Or that you think I should know better. Do not let me give the enemy an invitation to settle into your seat, Jesus. I give you my burdens to carry. I give you my joy in gratitude. Thank you for waiting outside the door. Come in, Jesus. I love you. You are my favorite party guest. In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen.
