Heavenly Father, I don’t like when evil seems to win. I don’t like when I don’t have answers as to why something horrible happens. When I can’t answer others who ask me, “How could your God allow this?” I know you give us free will. I know why you give us free will. In times of tragedy and sadness, it is so easy to become disheartened and lose hope. The same world that says you don’t exist, looks to blame you for the actions of evil people being used by the enemy to advance his war. I pray Lord for the courage to stand strong in my faith and be an example to others than you are always faithful. Even when it is dark, You are light. Even when we can’t see how, You will use evil for good. You will fight for us, every last one of us. And when the worst happens Lord, let me be strong enough to let go and trust that Your ways are not my ways. And that no matter how I view this world, Your hand is still in control. Sweet Jesus, I don’t need all the answers. I just need you. In Your precious name, I humble myself and pray. Amen.
